The shifting sands of Southwick were good to the Troy Lee Designs squad. The team's premier 450-class rider, Ben Townley, matched his season best moto finish with a second. Wil Hahn posted a career best moto finish with a third and overall finish with a fourth. Cole Seely matched his career best moto finish with a ninth and Tarah Gieger continued her podium streak with a third place overall.

After a few weeks off the entire team returned to New Berlin, New York healthy and ready to race. Ben Townley was coming off an injury he suffered at Washougal and Wil Hahn was back after shoulder surgery nearly two months ago. Cole Seely even spent some time on the sidelines with a broken nose and he was back at Unadilla as well.

Washougal Motocross Park in Washougal, Washington was the site of round eight of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda team had a rough go at this event.
